As information in product specifications is becoming more and more important for purchasers to verify, especially allergen information, we’re updating the recording of allergens in agile:NPDtech to allow you to add your own notes to individual allergens.

The software automatically shows which ingredient(s) from a recipe each allergen is present in (if any). However you’ll now also be able to add custom notes, such as details of which factories may process the allergen or trace levels.

Please note that as opposed to the ‘present in’ information, these manually added notes do not automatically roll up from ingredients to recipes. They are intended for any extra information you want to add to a generated product specification document for sending to customers.
