Beacon Foods were looking for a product to support their entire NPD department. Increasing the amount of feedback they receive from clients about the samples they send out, was critically important. One of the main reasons NPD:tech was selected was the built in ‘chaser’ email functionality.

Based in Brecon Beacons, Beacon Foods has announced exciting expansion plans to more than double the size of its existing 36,000 sq ft factory on a 3.8-acre site on Brecon Enterprise Park over the next three years with financial support from the Welsh Government.

The investment will safeguard the existing workforce of 120 and create new managerial posts as the company looks to develop new products and secure more business in an increasingly competitive market.

The first phase of the expansion will increase the production area and introduce new cooking methods to broaden the company’s product range. The second phase will increase the temperature controlled storage areas for frozen and chilled products.

With these projects in the pipeline Beacon Foods hopes to expand out the software into other areas of the business.
